Review, code, and record all business transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, and bank accounts).
Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB).
Perform account reconciliations, including intercompany accounts.
Coordinate, clarify, and maintain general ledger (G/L) accounting.
Prepare payment runs.
Support the preparation of annual financial statements.
Serve as a contact person for accounting matters and represent your area of responsibility.
Completed commercial training as an accountant, tax clerk, certified accountant (m/f/d), or a similar commercial qualification.
Excellent communication skills in both German (C1) and English (B2).
3+ years of experience in accounting; Experience in the healthcare sector is a plus.
Solid knowledge of relevant commercial and tax regulations (including accounting law, the German Commercial Code – HGB, and VAT law – UStG).
Experience with MS Office, especially Excel.
Knowledge of DATEV is an advantage.
